Delete your data
You can take calmposts' access away at any time and have your account and everything in it deleted.
Disconnect a network in the app
- Sign in and open Accounts.
- Press Disconnect next to the account. calmposts deletes its access tokens at once; posts queued for that account stop.
Revoke the access on X
- On X, open Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps.
- Pick calmposts and revoke its access. The next time we try to use it, X refuses and we mark the account as disconnected.
Delete your whole account
Enter the email address of your calmposts account. We will email that address to confirm the request comes from you before anything is deleted.
What gets deleted
- your account: email address, name, password hash, settings;
- your workspace with its posts, drafts, schedules and uploaded media;
- connected social accounts and their access tokens;
- API keys and apps connected over MCP.
What we have to keep
If you ever paid, we keep the payment records the law requires for tax and accounting, with your account anonymised. Posts already published stay on the network: delete them there if you want them gone.
How long it takes
We act on a confirmed request without delay and within one month at the latest, as the GDPR requires. Backups roll over and lose the data within their retention period.
