X charges every app per call: $0.015 for a post and $0.20 for a post with a link, more than thirteen times as much (docs.x.com, as of 18 October 2026).
We'd rather put that number on each plan than hide it behind a “fair use” clause. So every plan names two limits: posts a day and, of those, posts with a link a month.
A link is anything X counts as one: https:// addresses, www. addresses and bare domains such as example.com. The composer marks a post with a link before you schedule it, and so does the checker on the calculator page.
Yes. On the free plan you connect your X account, write, schedule and keep drafts, and publish each post yourself through X's own post window, which opens with your text. Paid plans publish on their own, on time.
Because X prices them separately: an app pays X $0.015 for a post and $0.20 for a post with a link. So each plan says how many posts with a link it includes a month. Each part of a thread counts as a post of its own.
No. calmposts publishes through its own app on the official X API and pays X for every post. You sign in with X and approve the access on X's own screen.
Only what five scopes allow: read and publish posts (tweet.read, tweet.write), read your profile (users.read), upload media (media.write) and stay connected (offline.access). No direct messages, no follows, no profile changes. You can disconnect in the app or revoke the access in X's settings at any time.
Yes, on plans with API keys, through the REST API or the MCP server. Its posts can wait for your approval in the app or in Telegram before they go out.

The plan runs until the end of the period you paid for, then your workspace moves to the free plan. Your posts, drafts and connected accounts stay; posts no longer go out on their own.
